Celtic ‘agree to pay Qarabag’s asking price’ for winger Camilo Duran

Celtic have reportedly agreed to pay the asking price set by Qarabag for their Colombian winger Camilo Duran, according to Azerbaijani outlet Futbol Info. The 24-year-old has been with the Azerbaijani champions since 2025 and has emerged as a target for the Scottish champions in the current window.
No further financial details have been reported, but the suggestion that Celtic are willing to meet Qarabag’s valuation points to genuine intent from Glasgow’s East End to press ahead with the deal in the coming days.
Rangers stand firm on Chermiti amid Lyon interest
Across the city, Rangers are said to have no intention of selling forward Youssef Chermiti, 22, despite interest from Ligue 1 side Lyon. That claim comes from French outlet Football Mercato, and suggests the Ibrox club are keen to hold on to the striker regardless of any offers from France.

Rankins, Fagan-Walcott and Hearts business
Elsewhere in Scottish football, Rangers have handed a first professional contract to 16-year-old Luca Rankin, the son of former Dundee United and Hibernian midfielder John Rankin, according to The Sun.
