Bayern Munich’s retro adidas kit for 2026 leaks with Allianz Arena design

Bayern Munich look set to add yet another shirt to their already crowded 2025/26 kit collection, with images of a retro-inspired jersey for 2026 now circulating online. The leaked design draws on the club’s crest and the illuminated exterior of the Allianz Arena, according to Footy Headlines.

The report describes a bold red-and-blue diamond pattern that echoes both Bayern’s badge and the glowing panels of their home stadium, finished off with adidas’ familiar Trefoil branding to give the shirt a distinctly throwback feel.

Two collar options spotted

Footy Headlines reports that a discreet “FCB” marking sits below the collar, adding a personalised touch to the design. Two versions of the jersey appear to have surfaced, with one featuring a blue collar and the other opting for a plain white trim, though which variant will eventually go on sale remains unclear.

According to the same report, the shirt is expected to launch either late in 2025 or early in 2026. Bayern have already released their home, away and third strips for the current campaign, alongside a separate Oktoberfest-themed kit, meaning this retro release would mark yet another addition to an unusually extensive line-up for one season.

Kane and Bayern’s busy season

The kit news arrives at a time when interest in Bayern Munich among British fans remains high, largely thanks to Harry Kane’s continued goalscoring exploits at the Allianz Arena. The England captain has been a focal point of the German champions’ attack since his move from Tottenham Hotspur, and Bayern’s squad is widely regarded as being built for silverware this term.

Retro and heritage designs have become an increasingly popular strand of football manufacturers’ output in recent years, with clubs across Europe regularly releasing nostalgic reworkings of classic shirts alongside their standard kit ranges. Bayern’s latest leak fits that trend, blending historical references to the club’s identity with a modern manufacturing finish.

As with any leaked kit, official confirmation from Bayern Munich or adidas is still awaited, and details such as pricing, full release dates and any accompanying training or third-kit tie-ins have yet to be announced.
