Topps unveils Premier League 2025/26 Hobby Box for card collectors

Topps has launched a new Hobby Box for the Premier League’s 2025/26 season, aiming to give collectors a more premium alternative to standard retail packs. The release, produced under the Fanatics Collectibles umbrella, promises guaranteed autograph and relic cards in every box.
Each Topps Premier League 2025/26 Hobby Box is said to contain three autograph or relic cards, with at least one guaranteed signed card among them. Collectors will also find three exclusive Black Edge inserts, a bold design variation that is only available through the Hobby range rather than in retail shops.
Autographs, relics and rare parallels
The Hobby-exclusive line-up includes Beast Mode Autographs, Relic Cards containing swatches of player-worn shirts, and Black Edge Autographs offered as ultra-premium signed editions. Topps has confirmed a Beast Mode card of Liverpool’s Virgil van Dijk is among the cards available, alongside a new Didier Drogba card for collectors chasing Premier League legends.
Beyond the guaranteed hits, buyers can chase four sequentially numbered parallel cards and two Chrome King Legend inserts. There are also short-print Diamond Rookies to collect, forming part of the full 2026 Rookie Class, which is headlined by Estêvão Willian, Josh King and Rio Ngumoha.
Ultra-rare Case Hits add extra rarity
Adding further intrigue to the release are the so-called Case Hits, ultra-rare inserts that appear only once per case, and in some instances even less frequently. These include Chrome King Autographs of Premier League legends, Heat Vision cards inspired by player heatmaps, Home Advantage cards pairing stars with landmarks from their club’s city, and the Perfect Storm insert.
Topps has framed the release as an “ultimate upgrade” for serious collectors, positioning it as more than simply a box of cards but a box of chances at landing one of the rarer hits. The launch continues a wider surge in interest around trading cards in recent years, spanning franchises from Pokémon through to top-flight football.
