1874 Northwich land promotion hero Harry Lynn from Stockport Georgians

1874 Northwich have strengthened their forward line ahead of their first season in the Northern Premier League West by signing Harry Lynn from Stockport Georgians, according to The Non-League Football Paper.
The 21-year-old was a key figure last term as the Georgians won promotion from the North West Counties Football League First Division South, netting 13 goals across the campaign.
Among his most memorable contributions was the winning spot-kick in a penalty shoot-out victory over Eccleshall, a moment that helped confirm the Georgians’ step up the pyramid.
New era at 1874 Northwich
Lynn’s arrival forms part of a wider rebuild at 1874 Northwich as the club prepares to compete at NPL West level for the first time. The Non-League Football Paper reports that the recruitment comes alongside changes both on and off the pitch under new manager Rory Fallon.
Fallon has bolstered his backroom staff by bringing in Chris Broad and Thomas Reed, while Jack Owen has been confirmed as the club’s new chairman as 1874 Northwich look to establish themselves quickly in their new division.
Proven goalscorer heading into the step up
Lynn’s goal return at Stockport Georgians last season made him one of the more sought-after strikers at that level, and his experience of delivering in a promotion push will be seen as valuable for a 1874 Northwich side adjusting to life in a higher tier.
With the club’s off-field structure also being reshaped alongside Fallon’s playing squad, the signing is being viewed as part of a broader effort to give 1874 Northwich the platform to compete in the NPL West from the outset.
